Today I want to review the Makeup Revolution palette in collaboration with youtuber Sophdoesnails. I started watching Soph earlier this year I adore her videos and her make up tutorials. I was so excited to hear she was bringing out her own palette with one of my favourite make up brands. The eyeshadow palette is £10 which I think is a great price for this amazing palette that also has a huge mirror?! She also has a highlighter palette, that I sadly still haven't gotten but, I will soon as I love highlighters and her one just looks so beautiful and it's only £8!
There are 24 shades and there is a great range! There are warm shades, bright colours just everything. We have matte and shimmer shades. The shimmer shades are beautiful. They are so pigmented that I am in love with how bright and beautiful they are. I just couldn't get over how great this palette was. Like she said in her video you could use this all year round and I am excited to use the green shimmer shade at Christmas. I had a little mess around with it and the colours are really easy to blend. I used Pancakes as a transition colour then I put Strawberry Sweets on the inner and the outer corner of my eye, just leaving a blank space in the middle. To deepen up the corners I added Danger, which is this beautiful dark red that I am excited to use again. For the middle I really wanted to add some shimmer so, I used Sparks Fly which you can use without adding a bit of setting spray to your brush to apply it. I sometimes like to use my finger to apply shimmers as I feel they show up a little bit more but, this colour was just intense.
(not the best pictures and ignore my eyebrows as they need doing but whatevers)
Look at the colours! I am obsessed with this palette. Ever since I bought it, it has been my go to palette. It has a range of different colours and I am excited to try and create some different eyeshadow looks soon!
Well done Soph on a brilliant palette! Cannot wait to try the highlighter palette as I am excited to cover my whole face in it...
Have you tried the palette yet? What did you think?
Know someone in your life who is obsessed with Soap and Glory?
I have quite a few people in my life that adore them and their products so, I thought I would put together a small gift guide of their new Christmas sets. These are my top picks I think would be a great gift for everyone and yourself because, you know, you have to treat yourself when Christmas shopping and it IS 3 for 2 soooooo.....
Soap and Glory Winter Wonder Glam - £50 - If you didn't know, this will be half price on Friday! It is filled with some amazing make up products and I am hoping to pick this up for myself. I've only ever used their mascara so, I'm excited to try this out. PLUS, if you know someone who loves make up this is a really amazing set to get someone, especially when it's half price and I can guess it will go super fast.
Soap and Glory Girls Con-Tour - £14 - a really cute set that would be great for that person in your life that likes to travel and we all know how much of a pain it is to carry around loads of make up. This palette has everything from a mirror to a primer to contouring products!
Soap and Glory Spa of Wonder - £60 - This huge box has everything you need. It is great a set that has everyones favourite bath/face product! ALSO this is their star buy this year and it will be £30 on Friday.
Soap and Glory Hello Super Spa - £15 - So, my boyfriend got me this for Christmas, it's all wrapped up but, I want it now. I am going to get my brothers girlfriends this for Christmas as it is a brilliant set! And £15 is just an amazing price for this. Best get it before it goes.
Soap and Glory Glow Ball - £14 - I mainly picked this as I really like the packaging. It's really Christmassy and such a good gift. It has some of my favourites in it.
Soap and Glory The Lime Of Your Life and Special Edition Soaper Heroes tins - £10 - both of these are really good value for money! I've already bought a few for friends and family who I know will love them! And, you could probably resuse the tin.
Soap and Glory Glow Maintenance - £18 - I adore this set. I love the bag you get and all the goodies. It is such a good price and it top of my list for this year.
We've all got our Christmas list written out, haven't we?
I've always had my eyes on The Body Shop Christmas sets as, each year they do amazing sets and this year I think they've gotten so many amazing ones it's hard to actually narrow down which ones I want.
AND I've never had a beauty/bath/skincare calendar before but, I really, really, really want one of their calendars this year. (I'm hoping payday is good to me next week so I can possibly get the middle priced one!)
So, here is a list of things from The Body Shop that I am hoping to get this year.
Like I said, one thing I'm hoping to get is one of their advent calendars! The one I want the most is the £45 one as it's really cute and is full of things I would use all the time! (the £99 one would be amazing as well but, my bank would hate me)
I am also loving the House Of Holland sets they have collaborated on this year! Big fan of HOH and two of the sets I have my eyes on are The Truth Or Dare set and the White Musk Treats! If you're stuck to get someone a stocking filler this year I think these would be great. They are a great size and to be honest, The Body Shop products last me so long and each one smells amazing!
One thing I have been dying to try from TBS is their Tea Tree skincare! They have this really cute Tea Tree Rescue Kit out this year that is top of my list. I've heard amazing things about it so, I am so ready to try it.
And lastly, Frosted Plum Tin Of Delights. Mainly because I love the colour purple and it comes with quite a bit and I am loving the packaging!
I would add more to my list but, I would probably just add everything they have to my list.
Have you got any items from The Body Shop on your wishlist this year? Let me know in the comments what you're hoping for most!
If you're like me, you've already made a list for Christmas of the Soap&Glory products you want this year.
Soap&Glory is my favourite brand. I adore their bath and skincare. I've been using it for years and each Christmas they blow me away with all the new giftsets they bring out!
Some of my faves from Soap&Glory include the all time favourite The Righteous Butter. It smells amazing and my all time favourite, I think everyone I know adores that product. I also really love Speed Plump and I've just used the last of my one and I am in dire need of a new one soon! Sugar Crush smells amazing and another one I am almost running out off! Also, if you haven't tried their Peach Pout you are missing out! It is so creamy and a beautiful colour. AND if you haven't tried their face mask you need too! They are brilliant. I've tried each one and each one has left my face feeling amazing and my skin has really improved since I started using them.
For Christmas I really want some more of their make-up! I've always used their bath stuff and hardly any of their make-up, which is craaaazy!
The Winter Wonder Glam set is high on my list for this year. It has everything from an eyeshadow palette to lip products. For £50 you can't go wrong since you get a little bit of everything and from what I have used of their make-up I just know it's going to be amazing. Spa Of Wonder has every product I love and I just want it in my life now £60 and you get full sized products!! And of course I can't choose between Let's Glow Out and Glow Maintenance, they both have some wonderful products, great products and they come with cute bags! And of course I can't forget their advent calendar! Who doesn't want a Soap&Glory surprise each day in December?
ALSO-Let me know if you've used their new bath bombs! For £4 they look really good and I bet the smell amazing.
So, what Soap&Glory products are you hoping to get for Christmas this year?
The days are getting colder and that means it's time to go shopping and stock up on cosy jumpers etc.
Currently, my wardrobe is filled with Summer crop tops and jeans with a few jumpers thrown in. I'm not really equipped at the year but, on payday I am going to go on a bit of a spree and pick myself up some nice winter clothes and a new coat. I thought I would show you some of my top picks I am dying to pick up this winter from ASOS & Boohoo.
I've been eyeing MONKI for awhile, ever since I came across the brand on ASOS and now I have a mighty need for all of their clothing.
Today I want to talk about the Mark Hill Salon Professional Hairdryer. Yes, it's £59.99 but, I think sometimes you need to invest in a good hairdryer as they last and this one left my hair feeling like I just came out of the hairdressers. It has some amazing features. When you turn it on, the screen on the side comes on to show you the temperature and you can use the buttons to either turn the heat up, make it a little colder and change the speed of how fast it blows out.
I have to say, I've never owned anything by Mark Hill before but, I am definitely going to get some more of the products. I have my eyes on the interchangeable curling wand. I love the idea of changing the barrels for different curls! I may pick one up soon and do a post on all the different curls.
I can't recommend this hairdryer enough. With all the different features and it doesn't feel too heavy in my hands. Again, I know it's £59.99 and some people would just shudder at the price but, this will last. It's great to invest in something like this that you know you can have for a few years.
*I was sent this product to review. All opinions are my own
If you haven't heard of Mad Beauty, where have you been? They have some wonderful items and have some amazing things coming out this Christmas. I have quite a list of stuff that I want to get from them for Christmas either for gifts or myself.
They have things from advent calendars to Christmas baubles full of goodies.
I was kindly sent a Christmas Cracker set. Each one is filled with a different smelling bubble bath. I love baths and getting this made my day.
I think this set is great to give as a whole or, if you've got a few friends or family members it would be fun to put one in each gift. They make great stocking fillers and you get quite a bit in the bubble bath. The scents you get are; Watermelon, Cranberry, Blueberry, Lime, Strawberry and Passion Fruit. I've already used one and a little goes a long way. If you're like me and love a good bubble bath or know someone who does this is the perfect gift for them. It is fun, as the packaging is wonderful and so Christmassy.
So, if you're looking for a cute gift for someone I can't recommend this enough! It is wonderful.
Don't forget to check out Mad Beauty for more wonderful Christmas gifts!

Christmas is creeping up on us which means it's almost time to start counting down with advent calendars!
I love chocolate advent calendars, I have about 3 each year but, this year I really want to treat myself to a beauty/bath one. There seems to be so many out this year it is really hard to choose just one. I've narrowed down my list from about 50 aha to some of the top ones I really want. These go from makeup to bath products to everything else. It's going to be hard just to choose one...if I could, I would get them all and probably open them all up straight away.
Let me know which ones are your must haves for this year!
Tanya Burr 12 Sweet Days - £30 - This one looks adorable. I really like the content and I am a big fan of Tanya Burrs make-up! (currently £20 on Superdrug)
Zoella 12 Days Of Christmas - £50 - I've seen what's in this and I am so excited for it. £50 is a bit much for me (kinda hoping it goes down a little) but, it looks like it's full of fun stuff and I love candles, which this has many off.
Soap & Glory It's A Calendar, Girls! - £40 - Big fan of S&G. This is high on my want list as it would be super fun to open up each day and I just adore their products. My bathroom is full of them.
The Body Shop Beauty Advent Calendar - £45 - I know they have 3 different ones and the £99 one looks amazing but I just couldn't afford that one and the £45 looks really good! A different array of products.
Nyx Professional Makeup Kiss & Tell Advent Calendar - £50 - Their lip products are amazing and this is something I would love. All the different colours and they are some of the best I've ever used.
The Bomb Advent Calendar - £19.99 - I adore Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs! They are some of my favourite and a really good price. Their advent calendar is a great price for 24 days full of soap, blasters etc
Halloween is approaching fast. I have no idea what I want to be this year but, I love to wear Halloween themed clothes all throughout the month. One of my favourite places to shop for these are Boohoo. Their Halloween collection this year is just so gorgeous. I've picked out some of my favourite pieces to show you guys. I cannot wait to order these next week and probably wear them all year round.
Ivy Bat Onesie - £25 - mainly for comfort. It looks so comfy and it's a bat onesie. What more could you want?
Madison I Got 99 Problems Halloween T-Shirt - £10 - This is such a cute tee and the model is wearing it with a tartan skirt on their page and I also have a tartan skirt and I cannot wait to wear this tee with it.
Plus Anya Skeleton Bat Halloween Bodycon Dress - £15 - have you seen the sleeves on this? I want to wear it and just swish my arms.
Tall Maisie Halloween Spider Web Mesh Bodysuit - £14 - I am just in love with this. The design is gorgeous and I love wearing these kind of bodysuits with my black PVC skirt.
Amelia Lips And Fangs Halloween Long Sleeve Bodysuit - £14 - I just adore the design on this one and would look so good tucked in to any type of skirt.
Plus Lola Skeleton Skull Printed Halloween Dress - £12 - Their plus size section is definitely my favourite. I don't know if I could pull this off as on the model it looks amazing but, I would love to wear this with some tights, boots and my leather jacket.
Plus Laura Skeleton Printed Halloween Leggings - £10 - these would look so good with a cropped top and even one of the bodysuits tucked in. Plus, I want to wear these all year round.
Plus Hollie Mermaid Skeleton Halloween Co-ord Set - £18 - Possibly my favourite piece. A two piece mermaid skeleton set. It looks amazing on the model and I hope it looks just as good on me. I don't really wear skirts like this but, I would for this outfit. I am just in love with it.
Not long ago I found a brand online, via some of the authors I follow on twitter, called Joanie Clothing and after looking at their clothing I instantly fell in love. They do sizes from 8-22 and I was so happy about that. I am currently a UK size 16 and a size 14 in some bottoms so, finding a clothing website that not only does my size they also do amazing clothing. Last payday I treated myself to three of their clothes and I can say, I was not disappointed.
First was the Bronte Avid Readers Club Sweatshirt. This was everywhere on the book twitterverse and I knew I had to have it. The material is so soft and it fits perfectly. Not too snug and not to loose and it is just perfect for these colder months.
Next I got the Margot Brunch Club Tee. I just adored the saying on this tee and knew I had to get it. I have been loving wearing this tucked in my high waisted jeans at the moment. The material is stretchy and soft and I just love it.
And last and, possibly my favourite item I got is the Martha Book Print Shirt Dress. A BOOK DRESS. I am a book blogger and the book lover in me needed this dress and it is my most favourite thing to wear. If I could wear it for work I would. You can also get this in a shirt form and I also need that. The sleeves fit perfectly and not too tight on my arms and I just adore it. If you are a book lover you need this dress.
All in all, I will definitely be buying more clothes from Joanie Clothing. I currently have my eye on the Frenchie Beauty School Dropout jumper which is adorable.
If you haven't bought from here yet I can't recommend it enough!
