So, it was payday last Friday and we got a new eyeshadow palette in work and as soon as they where put out I knew I had to get one. The palette is the Magnif-eyes Eye Contouring Palette in Smoke. I also picked up the mascara everyone has been raving about lately, Paradise from L'Oreal.
This palette is gorgeous. I decided to go for the smoke one as I just adore these colours. I decided to test them out and I was not disappointed. They are really pigmented and blend really nicely. You can not go wrong with a smokey eye.
I had high hopes for the mascara and they exceed them. Everyone has been raving about it and I just knew I had to give it a try. My eyelashes are tiny, I'm rather jealous of my boyfriend who has really long eyelashes so, I usually wear false eyelashes. This mascara made them look long and fuller and I love it. It is definitely my go to mascara at the moment!
I really enjoyed creating this look and didn't want to take it off at the end of the day. The colours just pop and the mascara is just amazing.
If you are looking for a new palette and mascara I can't recommend these enough! I cannot wait to get the other Magnif-eyes palettes!
Recently I bought the Glow It! Highlighting Palette from GWA (Girls With Attitude) they are one of my favourite eyelashes brand and I've always wanted to try their make up and I thought, why not try their highlighting palette first?! Everyone loves a good highlight.
These swatches do not do these highlighters any justice. They are so creamy and this is from one swatch?! From light to dark there is something for everyone and the light one is also perfect for the inner corner of your eye.
These highlighters are insanely beautiful and bright. After one swipe on my cheek I was in love. I am that person who likes their highlight blinding and this is blinding. You can build it up as much as you'd like.
I can't recommend this enough. A nice little range and they are super pigmented.
I cannot wait to get more from GWA make up range and of course, pick up more of their lashes.
The other day I saw that QVC had a great deal on for the Radiance From The Rainforest 6 piece set from Tarte and I knew I had to get it. The rainforest foundation has been something I have been dying to try for ages and I was so excited when it came through the post. I decided to try it all, with some extra pieces, to see what it was actually like.
The set includes: Rainforest Of The Sea Water Foundation, Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara with Opening Act Lash Primer on the end of the Mascara, LipSurgence Power Pigment in the shade Pink Coral, Amazonian Clay Silk Eyeliner, Sculptor Contouring Face Slenderizer, Blush Brush and a make up bag.
I got the foundation in the shade Light Fair Neutral. It is a little bit dark for me but I can work with that as the coverage is amazing and it went so nicely on my face. I didn't need many drops and I am really impressed. I quickly did my eyebrows with Make Up Revolution eyebrow palette and a Kat Von D Concealer under my eyes and then used the contour stick to contour. The colour is a great colour for me. I used the brush to blend it in and it blends amazingly. For my eyes I just used the eyeliner on the outside of my lid and blended and then used the primer and mascara. I really like the mascara, my eyelashes always look tiny with mascara on but, I really like how this made them look fuller and didn't clump.
To finish of the look I added some Tanya Burr highlighter and then used the LipSurgence on my lips. Pink Coral is a beautiful colour and it brought the look together.
And this is the finished look. I absolutely love every piece in this set. Can you believe I've never used Tarte before and this is my first time trying their products? Yep, me neither. I have always wanted to try the shape tape concealer and that is something I will, hopefully, be picking up soon. The contour stick is my favourite out of it all. Just the way it glided on and blended nicely.
If you're like me and never tried any Tarte make up before I recommend this set. For the deal they have on at the moment you cannot go wrong with it.
What is your favourite piece of Tarte make up?
If you are like me, you've been waiting all day to see what the new products Zoella was releasing for her lifestyle range. I've been in work all day and when I had my break I had to check to see if it was out and as soon as I saw all the new products I fell in love. I love her ranges and have all of her other lifestyle products and now I need to get all of these. The colours are gorgeous and just products I want in my house.

We all love liquid lipsticks. I use to adore normal lipsticks but, after trying out liquid lipsticks nothing has been the same for me. But, you do have some liquid lipsticks that crumble, feel heavy and all in all aren't the best. So, today's post is about my top 5 favourite liquid lipsticks! I have drugstore and high end ones. These are ones I have found that have lasted throughout the day, throughout eating and all in all don't crumble and feel like there isn't anything on my lips.
Not my best swatching but, these colours are beautiful and a mix of nudes and dark pinks and purples.
Pink Blink by Rimmel London (£5.99) is one I've been going on about on twitter a lot. I wore it for the first time the other day from 7am to 6pm when I went to London for an event and I didn't have to reapply it once. It stayed on through food and it is now my favourite of all of my liquid lipsticks.
Queen B by Too Faced (£19) is my only Too Faced product and I need to change that. My mum brought this back from New York for me and I just adore it. The colour is stunning and I can't get over how nice it feels on my lips.
As soon as Kat Von D opened up her beauty products in Debenhams I knew I had to get something. Exorcism (£17) is such a beautiful colour and it is perfect for the autumn/winter months.
Next is this beautiful vibrant colour from Maybelline in Berry Boost (£7.99) How beautiful is this colour? Perfect for summer and would go so nice with a natural eye look.
Last, I have Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen(£6) One of my first matte lipsticks and I just love it. Dries down quickly and stays on for hours. If you haven't tried any of their matte products I recommend this shade to you!
So, what are some of your favourite liquid/matte lipsticks?
We all love a lazy night in, don't we? It's so fun to have a relaxing night with pizza, netflix and a bath. So, this is a post on my relaxing night in that I did a few nights ago and I didn't realise how much I needed it. Sometimes you just need to pamper yourself and eat pizza and even have a glass of wine.
I had my bath first and decided to use some of my new products I got recently.
I decided to use my Pore-refining mask from Soap&Glory whilst I was in the bath. It makes your face tingle and after using it, my skin felt amazing. I've never had a face mask like this that has made my face just feel so fresh after using it.
I then used one of my Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs. I recently went to center parcs and one of the shops sold them and I stocked up on them. I love their bath bombs they are so different from any others I've used in the pass and they are a really good price. I used my Cherry Bathe-Well and it was amazing. The smell was divine and it made my skin feel amazing.
To finish it off, after drinking a glass of Echo Falls, does anyone else do that? When you want a relaxing night you take a glass of wine in with you? I usually don't drink wine but, I recently got into it and I really like it now. I used the Zoella Gelato Cream Body Scrub, I wasn't expecting colour when I opened my pot but it's orange and it smells amazing. One of the best body scrubs I've ever used and I really need to stock up on it.
After my bath, I get in my dressing gown, get my pizza on the go and set up my laptop. I put on RuPaul because, I usually re-watch the seasons every now and again and it's my favourite show ever. For my pizza I had Chicago Town Pizza Four Cheese Melt Stuffed Crust takeaway and it is the nicest pizza I've ever had. I love the red sauce in the crust and just everything about it.
You may be thinking, Beth, did you eat this whole pizza to yourself? Why yes I did. It isn't a relaxing night in if I don't have full pizza to myself. Plus, I can't share this pizza. It taste too good and I refuse to share.
So, these are some of the things I do if I want a relaxing, pampering night in.
What do you do when you want to relax?
I did a look with the Urban Decay - Beauty With An Edge palette the other day and put it up on twitter and people wanted me to upload a post on how I did it and my thoughts on this palette.
I bought this palette over a year ago and only recently started playing with it and the sad thing is, I think it has been discontinued as I can't find it on their website or Debenhams and I love it. It is the first Urban Decay palette I have ever owned and used and I cannot wait to get more of their palettes.
So, first I will show you some swatches. These are so creamy and these where all one swatch and I can't get over the pigmentation.
So after swatching the two colours that popped out to me where Moonshadow and Indo. I never wear blue, green colours on my eyes and decided to do something a little different.
So, I set my eye with Kat Von D concealer and then put a little bit of Sin all over the eyelid. I then went in with Indo from the inner corner of my eye to about midway. I then put Moonshadow on the middle of my eye to the outer corner of my eye and blended it together. I then got a bit of Blackout and put that right in the outer corner of my eye to darken it up a little bit and then blended that a little bit and I am so happy with the outcome.
I finished it of with Laura Geller liquid eyeliner and L'oreal Baby Roll Mascara.
I am in love with this look and will be doing it for my night out this week. I never wear these colours and I'm so surprised I've never tried them before. I just love how bright they are and the pigmentation of this palette is amazing. I just put my brush in once and did one swipe and the colour pay off was amazing with the tiniest bit of fall out, but that is always expected.
A big thumbs up from me for this palette. I cannot wait to get more of their palettes as I'm just amazed it has taken me this long to start using it.
Soap & Glory, one of my favourite brands, brought out some face masks. I adore all their bath and skincare products so, I was super excited when they announced it and I knew I had to get them. I only got 3 of the face masks as Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on them and I wanted to try them out before I bought all of them but, I can say that I will be buying the others and re-purchasing some of the ones I already bought.
The face masks they have are -
Pore Refining Sheet Mask - £3.50
Bright & Beautiful Radiance Boosting Mask - £3.50
Speed Plump Miracle Moisture Mask - £3.50
Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches - £3.50
De-Clog Mask - £4
I love that they brought out some masks as they do amazing skincare and it's always nice to do a face mask now and again and the prices are pretty good in my opinion. Especially when they have 3 for 2 offers on, just makes you want to buy more.
I bought the De-Clog Mask, Pore Refining Sheet Mask and Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches and I've tried the De-Clog Mask the other night. You get two pots in the product with a little spatula to help put it on your face and I love it. I love how it went on and then I let it settle for 20-25 minutes and then peeled it off and it left my skin feeling amazing. I always get on with Soap&Glory as it's one of the only brands that doesn't irritate my skin and these mask are definitely some of my favourite. I cannot wait to get the others and try them all out. I definitely recommend!
Last week Zoella, Zoe Sugg, released her new range. I am a huge fan of her products. Every time she has brought out a new range I have bought them all. She has amazing products and I always have to buy multiple. After trying out these products I can say this is my favourite range that she has bought out so far and it's made me really excited for her Christmas range.
So in this range she has included a bag and body mist that she includes in each range. The bag is gorgeous and is perfect to put my make-up in or my toiletries when I go away. The fragrance smells divine. It smells so fresh and it just immediately makes me smile with how lovely it smells. The bath milk tin includes 4 sachets of powder that you pour into the bath and it makes it smell amazing and creates bubbles and makes your skin feel so soft. I've already used one and I need to buy more so I can stock up on it. It is wonderful. She included some bath fizzes but, they are different from her other ones as they are a smooth kind of texture in the water and I love it. Shower Shake and Shower Sauce both smell wonderful and are so lovely and gentle on the skin. Then lastly we have the body scrub and body pudding. Both very colourful and the scent again, is amazing. She has chosen a beautiful scent for all of these products and I can still smell them on my skin.
Bath Milk - £7.00
Cream Body Scrub - £8.00
Bath Wafers - £5.00
Body Mist - £8.00
Shower Shake - £6.00
Body Pudding - £8.00
Shower Sauce - £5.00
Beauty Clutch - £14.00
And a great thing about these products are that they are resonable prices. I have spent so much money on bath products, expensive products, that aren't as good as these and I love the price of them so it is easy for me to re-buy when I run out-which will probably be soon.
Have you tried these products yet? What do you think of the new range?
Today I am doing a post on my everyday make-up. I will show you all the products I use and the finished look. This is a look I do tend to wear everyday, when I have a day off from work I won't wear any but, this is the make-up I do. I've been doing it for ages now so, I've gotten the time down, which is always good when you are in a rush.
So, in my make-up bag, yes I have a big one that I throw my make-up in. It also holds all my brushes etc. My make-up bag is from the Zoella Classic Collection range (£18) and I just adore it. The colours are so cute and it has enough space in it for all of my make-up.
First for my make-up, after moisturizing, I apply Speed Plump (£13) from Soap&Glory all over my face. I have been using this as a primer and I love it. It really makes my make-up last.
I then add a tiny bit of Porefessional (£10.50) from Benefit by my nose and on top of it. I have been using it for years and it is definitely one of my favourite products.
After letting this all settle into my face I then go in with my foundation which is Revlon Color Stay for Normal/Dry skin in the shade 110 Ivory. I use my beauty blender to apply this all over my face. I always have trouble finding a foundation that will match my skin and I am so glad I was recommend this foundation. I kind of hate using my high end foundations everyday as they are quite expensive but, this is only £12.99 and has lasted me ages. I just love how it goes on and makes my skin look flawless.
After I use two concealers. First I put my Kat Von D Lock-It in the shade L3 Warm (£20) under my eyes, around my nose and on some blemish I probably will have that day since my skin isn't the best. I was recommend this colour by the people at the shop but, I do think it is a little yellow for me so I add on top my Elf Under Eyes Concealers & Highlighters (£4.50). I use the white on top of my concealer and then blend with my beauty blender. It covers well and the white really makes my under eyes look brighter. Then to finish it all off I use Vichy Setting Powder (£13.50) under my eyes and around my nose. Most places I've concealed.
I then move onto my eyebrows. I never use to do them and only started about 5 months ago after a horrible waxing, another story for another day. I use my Make-up Revolution HD Brows palette (£8). I use the darkest colour to fill in and give my eyebrows shape and then use the cream in it to define them. I then use my Benefit Gimme Brow (£20) in the shade 05 to keep them in place. I then move onto my eyes. I always do a winged eyeliner. I always feel weird if I don't do it since I've been doing it for so long. I use my Laura Geller liquid eyeliner ($22) to get the perfect wing. I love this eyeliner as it doesn't budge and it goes on effortlessly. To finish of my eyes I use L'oreal Baby Roll Mascara (£7.99). My eyelashes are tiny and this makes my eyelashes look longer and thicker and I love it.
Next I finish the rest of my face. Tanya Burr Rosy Flush palette (£8) is perfect for as it has a bronzer, blush and a highlighter in it. I use the bronzer to bronze up my face a little and contour a little. Then I throw the blush on my cheeks. I am one of those people who have loads of highlighters and I have 3 to choose from for my everyday make-up and one of those is a palette that has 6 in it. I like to change it everyday. I either use it from the TB palette or the Tanya Burr Illuminating Powder in the shade Champagne Sorbet (£7.49) or my Barry M Cosmic Lights palette (£7.99), which by the way is so beautiful! It has 2 powders and 4 creams and the pigment is crazy good.
To finish of my look I usually add a lipstick in a pinky colour. I have been using and loving Maybelline Color Sensational in the shade 207 Pink Fling (£6.99). I adore the colour. Then I will set my face with the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Spray (£5) . This has made my make-up last for ages and I love-sadly I am almost out of it though.
For something extra I may sometimes use the Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist, which I sadly can't find on their website anymore but, their Vitamin E range is amazing.
And this is the finished look!
I hope you enjoy this post, let me know what you love using everyday.
